The Refuge is located along Hudson Road (Route 43) in Alton/Old Town and is accessible through:

Gate 1 – Entrance is marked by a large red sign                                                                             Gate 2 – Street address – 15 Hudson Road Alton, ME 04468                                                             Gate 3 – Street address – 35 Hudson Road Alton, ME 04468                                                             Gate 5 – Location: drive past Gate 3, cross the bridge, the trail head is on the left approximately
80 yards after the bridge.This is a winter trail and is not accessible during spring floods.
Gate 6 – Across the road from Gate 1
